“I am working within the parameters of a ‘post-minimalist art’ and exploring ways to move these interests forward. The basic forms (parts) are made to order in specialist workshops (wood, metal, stone etc.). These and other materials, ready-made or found, are then combined to make a single piece, or may continue to exist as separate units to be assembled or arranged later depending on a given context for displaying the work. The process is, therefore, one of ongoing ‘aesthetic resolution’ within the constraints of specific economic 'technical and cultural conditions.”
