Biography

I am an artist, writer and teacher living in Leicestershire where  I research,  practice, teach  and write about, fine art.

My art work has been included in many  group shows in Birmingham, Glasgow, London, Cambridge and Leicester and my most recent solo exhibition was at the Harborne Art Gallery in Birmingham (April – June 2015).

Writings, in the form of Exhibition  Reviews, Newspaper Articles, References and Catalogue  contributions is regularly undertaken and welcomed  (recent examples can be found at www.a-n.co.uk ).

Having post-graduate qualifications in Fine Art, Art Education and Cultural Studies and 30 years experience of working in Further and Higher Education, I continue to work with individuals and groups as a facilitator/mentor/teacher. I originate and lead workshops and courses in art and design practice and theory (see recent examples at www.ten2gallery.co.uk)

My studio is in Hinckley in Leicestershire and I am pleased to  welcome  visitors by prior arrangement.
